OUR 2025-2026 SCHOLARS

Tyra Henson

Tyra's church membership is at First Baptist of Chanute, and she is attending Pittsburg State University where she is studying to be a nurse. Tyra believes God has placed a special call on her life to help others, and helping people in times of medical crisis will place her at the center of that call. She went on a mission trip to Canada last summer and is raising funds to go again this summer (2025). She is getting married on June 7, and her soon-to-be husband is studying for a degree in Safety Management. Our prayers go with you, Tyra, in your educational goals, your marriage, and all of your future!

Amy Marcoux

Amy is studying toward her masters degree in clinical psychology at Pitt State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. Amy's home church is First Baptist of Chanute, and she is seasoned in ministry. As a part of her practicum, she currently works with at-risk children and their parents two days each week. Her education coupled with her hands-on experience will combine to make her even more effective in ministry. For you, Amy, we pray for God's every provision during this growing time in your life.

Paige Campbell

Paige's home church is at First Baptist Church of Hiawatha, Kansas, and she is attending Northwest Missouri State University where she is studying graphic design and will be a junior in the fall. She is active in college ministry and has a church home "away from home" where she faithfully attends. Paige is still discovering her God-given talents and gifts and is already serving even while preparing for greater service. Paige, blessings to you as you listen for that still, small voice directing you.

Alicia Stinnett

Alicia's major is Elementary Education, and her home church is First Baptist in Herington. She is very active in her church, including being on the Praise and Worship Team and helping with the youngest students in the Awana program. She attends Wichita State University, and leads a full life between school, her children, and church. May God give you strength day-by-day for all your responsibilities, Alicia.
