CLEFT PALATE RECONSTRUCTION

Thailand

$16,000

Goal: To provide life changing surgery for children from the Mekong Region of Burma (Myanmar).

"The Cleft Palate Project in Eastern Myanmar" continues to connect children with life-changing surgical care that would otherwise be difficult or impossible for their families to access. The need has become even greater as ongoing war and unrest in Myanmar have disrupted healthcare systems, displaced families, and made it increasingly difficult for children in remote and conflict-affected communities to receive specialized medical care.

For families already facing displacement, insecurity, and limited access to basic healthcare, a cleft palate can create additional challenges with feeding, nutrition, speech, and social development. Traveling for specialized surgery can be especially difficult when roads are unsafe, medical facilities have been damaged or disrupted, and families have limited financial resources.

Through local partners and medical networks, children in Shan State are being identified and connected with surgeons and hospitals in Chiang Rai Thailand.  Just This week, three more children are being connected with surgeons in Chiang Rai for assessment and to begin the process toward receiving the care they need. Each child represents an opportunity for healing and a better quality of life. We are grateful for the growing network of partners who are helping bridge the gap between children living in conflict-affected areas and the specialized medical care available across the border in Thailand."

Mitsubishi L300 “Farm” Vehicle

PHILIPPINES

$14,000

Goal: To purchase a vehicle to upkeep land and help with transport

To help with much needed reliable transportation for the day-to-day operation of Tatay’s Farm-Mission Center and to provide for impending camp and retreat opportunities for small churches, children, and ministry leaders. God’s love is shared through agricultural outreach, providing food and encouragement to families in need. (2 Corinthians 9:8)

AARON and AMYESTELLE serve in the Philippines. They work with IM global partners to share the Good News to the least-reached and underserved populations. Their family farm serves as a food bank, providing vital support to local people in need. As they envision its future use, they see new opportunities to offer training and enrichment activities. Amy Estelle is dedicated to building relationships with women, teens, and children through hospitality and educational initiatives. Aaron uses his artistic talents and professional expertise to connect with and mentor local artists.
